We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Hospitality and Catering Lecturer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that supports learners and contributes to the ongoing success of our Hospitality and Catering department.

You will be responsible for teaching City & Guilds Hospitality and Catering qualifications at Levels 1, 2, and 3 to students aged 16–19. Alongside classroom teaching, you will act as a Tutor, providing one-to-one support to ensure all learners receive the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed both academically and personally. Your industry expertise will be crucial in bringing real-world relevance to the curriculum and helping learners understand the career opportunities available to them.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced educator or an industry professional with a strong background in hospitality and catering. You should be an enthusiastic and committed practitioner with the ability to deliver outstanding and engaging lessons. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a passion for helping young people thrive.

Applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. You will also need appropriate vocational qualifications in Hospitality and Catering, and previous experience of teaching or training young people is preferred.

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due developed a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre in September 2024.
