We have a new exciting opportunity to join our friendly People & Culture Team here at the University of Cumbria.
Our People and Culture team is not only key to the successful development and implementation of HR work streams but also builds on the team’s achievements over an extensive period.
Within our University, our colleagues and students are fantastic. This is a great time to join the University where significant investment and transformation change is taking place meaning you will be heavily involved in People and Culture projects from the start. You and the wider team will provide expert advice and guidance including effective strategies for creating a positive and engaging environment. We support colleagues across the UK, from our campuses in Carlisle. Lancaster, Ambleside, and London.
You will work alongside our managers to drive the implementation of the People & Culture strategy. As an HRBP you are a critical friend, strategic partner and change agent, coaching and working alongside our managers to enable them to get the best out of our people, continually ensuring the best student experience, with a great working experience. After all, we are here to transform lives and livelihoods. You will ideally bring with you experience in driving people initiatives that enable business growth and championing a progressive, engaging, and inclusive culture. Most of all, you will bring enthusiasm for what the University is here to do, and the role of HR in delivering positive change. You will be skilled at working collaboratively to support change with extensive experience in HR case management.
Hybrid working, based on a 60:40 Work/Home split, is available for this role.
