We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic HR Management Information team.

Everything we do in the management information team enables the council to make evidenced based people decisions. Join us and you’ll be contributing to the development of a variety of strategies, initiatives and projects aimed at improving the culture and work practices that define us.

Typical hours for a full time position is 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am-4.30pm on a Friday. However, we offer flexible and agile working hours to promote a healthy/work-life balance. You’ll have flexibility in hybrid working being both office based, at City Hall and working remotely from home to suit your needs.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll provide essential support to the HR Management analysts, making sure every request for data is delivered effectively. This means you’ll be using a range of systems including Midland HR, Business Objects and Microsoft excel. Keeping all employee data, reporting, research and records accurate and up-to-date will enable you to respond to information requests and provide valuable information to the organisation.

What you’ll need

You’ll ideally have experience in the use Microsoft excel to an intermediate level with the ability to identify trends, patterns and inaccuracies with data. You’ll be used to working on your own initiative or as part of a team, so, you’ll have good time management skills, attention to detail and the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.
