We have specialist teams in Resourcing, Graduate Recruitment and Management, Learning and Development, Systems and MI and Reward. The HR Operations team are based in offices across the UK, working as one team to deliver a business partnering service to our fee earning and business services teams.The purpose of the HR Projects and Data Analyst role is to work with the UK HR Director and Senior HR Managers on key UK projects involving strategic change and BAU operational activity across the UK business. This role will have responsibility for project management and co-ordination of projects including the production and ownership of key data and insight across both business service departments and fee earning practice groups. The role requires the regular production of high-quality data dashboards, insights and maintenance of other HR data relating to ongoing projects. The role holder will report into one of the UK Senior HR Managers.The RoleKey ResponsibilitiesThe role will support the UK HRD and partner with HR Stakeholders to deliver people impacting work streams. The role will be responsible for the project administration and coordination of HR related projects including building project plans, maintaining project schedules, and identifying and reporting on risks in partnership with the stakeholders. The role holder will have accountability for key people data and insight for BAU and projects where the projects will range in size and scope. The role will involve working in partnership with HR stakeholders, to instil project management disciplines within their teams whilst ensuring deadlines are achieved.These projects will include:Strategic Projects
- Employee engagement and cultural transformation
- Business Change including restructuring, OD, TUPE, and business integration
- HR Transformation including business readiness and adoption of new HR
tools/systems/processesOperational (BAU) projects
- Salary and Performance moderation
- Talent management
- Promotion processes including the Legal Director and Partner selection committee processes
- Data reporting
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ability to extract and analyse data to build a high-quality monthly HR dashboard and to provide insights into key themes.
- Practical understanding and experience of key HR processes and practices from within a professional services environment
- A HR background with experience in supporting people impacted change programmes.
- Project management skills and an overall understanding of the project management discipline and best practice methodologies.
- To collaborate with internal stakeholder to understand their data needs and respond to ad hoc HR data requests.
- Present data findings to internal colleagues and stakeholders, tailoring the content appropriately for the audience
- Be able to analyse data and draw conclusions and trends.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills with a proven track record of managing competing demands.
- Capable of working autonomously but also operating as part of a team
- Proven stakeholder management, strategically minded and dedicated to always achieving excellence.
