Job description

We are working closely with an expanding IFA practice with offices across Gloucester and Droitwich.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a financial planning firm, and ideally have used the back office system IO/Intelligent Office!

This role will see you working closely with the financial planners, and Paraplanners as the firm operates in a pod structure. This means you will get full exposure to the full financial planning process and be given the opportunity to really get involved with the clients journey from start to finish.

This role would suit someone who enjoys mentoring and supervising junior members of staff (or would like to be involved in this element) This is a business that prides themselves on training and development so if this is something of interest you can be involved!

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with Financial Planners to deliver excellent client service
  • A point of contact for clients on behalf of the Financial Planners, being able to communicate effectively, clearly and pro-actively
  • Maintaining back-office systems and client records
  • Processing all business in line with processes and procedures, collating AML documentation as required
  • Work-flow management and use of technology
  • Identify and coach team members through training and competencies, to enhance skills and competencies
  • Liaising with operational teams to provide coaching and ups-killing as well as and monitoring of processes and procedures
  • Assist in developing processes and procedures that are realistic and fully usable for the team to ensure streamlining and efficiency’s are in place
  • Responsible for general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to planners by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate

  • 4 x basic salary DIS after first 6 months

  • 22 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, plus period between Christmas and New Year. This increase by 1 day for every 2 years service to a max of 25 days plus Bank holidays, plus period between Christmas and New Year
  • Company Electric Car Scheme
