Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Physical Education lessons following the school’s curriculum standards, preparing students for assessments and future athletic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, enabling each student to excel.
• Emphasise the real-world applications of physical education knowledge, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills in students.
• Regularly assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support their athletic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that ignites a passion for physical education, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification in Physical Education.
• PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
• Proven experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
• Ability to teach Key Stage 3, with Key Stage 4 as an additional qualification.
