Job Description

Salary on appointment will be £36,333 per annum, with an annual increment up to £43,155 per annum.

UEA’s Research and Innovation Service (RIN) are looking to recruit a highly motivated Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) Officer to provide the delivery of our MRC IAA and AHRC IAA programmes, including the provision of advice and support to applicants and award holders, production of regular monitoring reports, and the organisation of events.

In this role you will work closely and collaboratively with IAA Academic leads, external Delivery Board Chairs and the IAA Board Secretaries to ensure the smooth running of awards and along with colleagues within RIN, design and provide training and events, pre and post award processes and the management of annual reporting requirements.

This role requires strong organisational skills, strong time-management, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will have a proven track record of designing and implementing administrative processes, sound financial knowledge and be an effective project manager.

You must have a relevant degree or have equivalent experience in a comparable level role. Applicants will be expected to satisfy all essential criteria outlined in the person specification.

This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until to 1 July 2026.
