  • To execute existing plans for IT security within the Vita Group and help formulate additional policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development of security and operational tools and policies.
  • Root cause analysis, problem management and incident management of issues.
  • Provide technical expertise for security technologies.
  • Develop and maintain our security procedures, update standards and documentation.
  • Drive continual improvement of security controls in our systems
  • Liaise with our 3rd party suppliers.
  • Have IT security as your primary focus.
  • Keep up to date with threats, trends, best practice, and innovation in security.

Job SummaryProvide security measures to protect all The Vita Group’s systems, hardware, software, and data. Participation in various programs and initiatives supporting the further implementation of the company’s Information Security Policies and Standards. Must have a thorough understanding of all aspects of computer and network security. Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills essential as well as a broad knowledge of all aspects of IT. Must be self-motivated, have excellent judgment and be able to multitask under pressure.Essential duties and responsibilitiesInclude the following:· Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.· Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.· Assist in investigating security breaches and other cyber security incidents.· Work with the IT Team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities.· Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high standard of security.· Stay current on IT security trends and news.· Develop companywide best practices for IT Security.· Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.The above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required.
