Job description: The ILS Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of integrated logistics support activities for our clients. This role is critical in guaranteeing that our customers receive the highest level of support and that our projects meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • ILS Strategy and Planning:
  • Development and implementation of ILS and LSA strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements.
  • Creation of clear ILS objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Lifecycle Support:
  • Manage the lifecycle of products, systems and projects from design and development through to sustainment and disposal.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective support solutions are in place at each lifecycle stage.
  • Technical Documentation Management:
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and distribution of technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and technical data packages.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supply Chain Management:
  • Work in conjunction with supply chain teams to optimize logistics and inventory management.
  • Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
  • Configuration Management:
  • Implement and maintain a configuration management system to control changes and revisions.
  • Ensure accurate records of product configurations are kept.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer:
  • Develop training programs for end-users, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer between project teams and end-users.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their ILS needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to clients regularly.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Continuously monitor and assess project risks.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and lead a team of ILS professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Encourage a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
