Interim Accounts Assistant – Remote Working
We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Accounts Assistant to join us here at CILEX! This is a 2-month contract to assist the Accounts Receivable team with the allocation of receipts and resolution of queries.
Responsibilities include:
Process incoming receipts and post to Sage 200c system.
Ensure daily bank sheets and unprocessed cash records are updated correctly.
Chase customers for remittance advices.
Assist with monitoring shared finance inboxes and actioning emails.
Support the group teams/functions with any Sales Ledger activities, establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Essential skills:
Ability to demonstrate experience of working with accounting software packages in an accounts department.
Able to demonstrate previous accounts receivable experience.
Ability to demonstrate previous experience with using Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The ability to always maintain a high level of accuracy.
The ability to forge effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of customer service excellence in both written and verbal communication.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge of SAGE 200 would be an advantage.
