Job description: Our SaaS/Tech client is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to support their revenue & geographical growth. Are you an immediately available qualified financial controller looking for a 6-12 month contract within a SaaS/Tech organisation?
Our scaling SaaS/Tech client has successfully grown in the last few years and anticipate continued expansion. Revenue and geographical growth subsequently mean increased opportunities and reporting into the CFO and senior stakeholders we are looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join the team.
Initially an interim opportunity, there is a strong possibility that this position will become permanent following the initial temporary period.
Based in Central London the successful candidate will be required to go to the office 2 days a week and contribute to the continued improvement of the finance function, whilst providing insightful management information to help steer strategic decision making.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Production of monthly management account for all business entities
- Provide insightful analysis and insights to enable strategic decision making.
- Contribute to the production of annual statutory accounts.
- Lead the budget, forecast and re-forecasts inclusive of financial models.
- Carry out due diligence, validity and appraisals for potential developments and acquisitions.
- Support the CFO on ad-hoc reports, SMT proposals and driving improvements to finance policies, systems improvements etc.
- Directly and In-directly mentoring and managing small team of finance professionals.
Partnering with our client we always try to encourage line managers keep an open mind, so all applicants will be carefully considered. However, the ideal candidate will have/be the following:
- Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA/CA or ACCA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
- Preferably have experience within a scaling or start-up Saas or Tech organisation
- Strong communications & presentation skills
- Proven experience of providing details analysis, reporting, budgeting & forecasting
Location: Central London
Day Rate: £500-600 inside IR35
Length: 6 -12 months (Temp to Perm)
