Job description: This role is a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Audit Manager who will be responsible for leading a team to manage and execute internal audits in an industrial/manufacturing environment based in Birmingham.

  • Leading the planning and execution of internal audits.
  • Providing guidance and oversight to a team of auditors.
  • Reporting audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying areas of risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve internal controls.
  • Managing the annual audit plan and budget.
  • Conducting training sessions for staff on auditing techniques and procedures.

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA etc.
  • 3 years+ experience within internal/ external audit.
  • Prior experience in a managerial role within an audit function.
  • Internal Audit experience is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
