What will this role achieve?
Reports to the Global IT Admin Manager and is responsible for the on-going management of IT admin processes for the UK region and across pladis globally as required.

Working closely with the rest of the Global IT/IS function, the role holder will be responsible and accountable for providing management of global Hardware and software purchasing admin, data management, reporting and IT procurement services for the pladis business.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • • Responsible and accountable for telephony billing management in the UK – fixed and mobile. Ensuring it is processed correctly and efficiently. Recognize and assess potential alert conditions that may require correction prior to processing payments.
  • • Responsible and accountable for managing and processing the purchasing orders from the pladis IS team, requisitioning, sourcing, invoice management, etc.
  • • Addressing and providing comprehensive responses to inquiries received via email.
  • • Manages the day to day purchasing of telephony hardware and service requests from the UK business, ensuring agreed service levels are maintained and lowest TCO for telephony service is maintained.
  • • Directly contacts and manages issues with suppliers, vendors and business users regarding telephony service and hardware.
  • • Manages the inventory of all the telephony assets across pladis UK.
  • • Works within the Asset team and with the other global IT teams to ensure IS assets are managed promptly, correctly and in some cases sensitively, so that the best response possible is given to pladis.
  • • Investigates and reviews global best practice in IT asset management, looking for synergies that can be incorporated to deliver improvements to service, including benchmarking comparative companies and competitors.
  • • Works to deliver a UK IT service catalogue and service, dealing with requests for new services, hardware and software from across pladis.
  • • Works to ensure that the asset and admin processes are consistent with our governance policies and expectations.
  • • Ensures adherence to IT policies, procedures, and standards across the IS function.
  • • Works with a team distributed globally, some of whom may manage others, internally as well as externally.

What do you need for this role?
Essential

  • Excellent administrative and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of telephony service and processes.
  • 1-5yrs experience in an IT admin/procurement or similar role.
  • Knowledge of SAP procurement/invoicing/purchasing.

Desirable

  • Finance/budgeting skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • ITSM Process Knowledge
