We are working together to find a new IT business analyst for the Applegreen Group IT function. This is a group level role looking after our businesses across all of the Applegreen regions.The role is based in the UK from the Welcome Break head offices in Newport Pagnell.What will your role look like?As the Group IT Business Analyst you will act as the key interface between the users and the project manager(s) to gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents across all IT Regions.Your main tasks will include determining requirements, performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.You will be responsible for:
- Requirement gathering (using RTM’s) and analysis for projects across the organisation. Documenting and communicating the results.
- Support RFP’s (request for proposals) in describing and soliciting bids for suppliers, assessing and delivering data-driven recommendations and reports
- Fulfils a functional role to analyse requirements and build quality solutions that meet the requirements and advises clients on Solution offerings, strategy, designs, implementation approaches and alternatives / trade-offs
- Provides input to technical estimates created with standards tools, portfolio Work
- Breakdown Structures, statements of work and industry standard estimating techniques
About youIdeally we are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field
- Understanding and awareness of cost estimations and operating models
- Broad understanding of IT, platforms and technologies

Expected salary: £40000 – 50000 per year
