Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a higher education degree of at least 3 years in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. (Essential)
Work Experience:
- Experience in IT management and administration, the candidate should have a proven track record of handling various technologies, client organizations, business lines, and diverse environments.
- Proficiency in advanced to fluent English is essential for effective communication and leadership.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of UK Government and Ministry of Defence IT Security standards for the handling and storage of classified information is crucial for this role. (Essential)
- The candidate should demonstrate expertise in IT management, especially in on-premises networks and infrastructure, which includes Azure/AWS cloud, MFA, and SSO solutions. (Essential)
- Knowledge and experience with off-premises cloud-based services, including Amazon Web Services and Azure, for Secure Applications, are considered desirable.
- The role will involve contract management of key suppliers, along with financial management and budget planning.
- The candidate should possess skills in business and technology solution design, development, delivery, and maintenance.
- A service-oriented mindset is required to deliver best-in-class enabling capability to users.
- Familiarity with Information Security Standards, such as ISO 27001 and TISAX, is essential. (Essential)
Organizational Requirements:
- It is imperative that the applicant is a British UK National capable of achieving Security Clearance (SC). (Essential)
