Job description: Due to exciting growth, a technology provider is recruiting a Senior Developer / Technical Manager. Working for various businesses, the company develops cloud software and development projects within the IoT sector.

THE JOB:
– Taking ownership of the delivery of the project scope of works and executing the project plan. At each stage, track progress and actively manage the projects from start to finish.
– Be the lead developer on new and existing projects and support the wider team in developing their own projects.
– Consulting with clients to understand and interpret their business needs and requirements and translate those into project specifications.
– Support senior management in implementing new business software throughout the business.
– Be responsible for internal IT policies and implementation of management software.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– Excellent knowledge of PHP, OOP and Design Patterns (MVC/Repository/MVVM)
– Good knowledge of MySQL, JS/JQuery, HTML5, CSS
– Experienced with Laravel, unit testing (PHPUnit), VueJS
– Experienced with Symfony framework and Doctrine ORM desirable
– Basic server management (Ubuntu)
– CI/Deployment pipelines – We use Laravel Forge, Envoyer and Github Actions
– Pair programming / collaborative working
– Full Life Cycle product development
– Integrating 3rd party APIs
– You have the ability to comfortably work with varying code styles and PHP versions
– Proactive and have a positive attitude towards solving problems
– You are comfortable dealing with clients directly, taking briefs and engaging with Clients

SALARY & BENEFITS:
– £40,000 – £60,000, dependent on experience.
