Birmingham – £32,000 – £40,000 + £3,000 Car Allowance

Applause IT are proud to be working with a growing and scaling MSSP based in Birmingham who are looking for an IT Engineer to work on a mix of BAU support and project delivery.

Basics were after are project (70%) and support (30%) infrastructure network engineer with main skills with Cisco equipment, but other vendors would be advantageous.

The successful IT Engineer will have experience in the following:

  • Setting up and managing business-level and enterprise-level networks.
  • Installing and providing continuous support for Windows Server (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022), which includes services like Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS Permissions, print management, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Configuring and overseeing Windows 10/11 devices using enterprise-level management tools such as Intune/SCCM.
  • Routers (Cisco)
  • Switches (mainly Cisco and Juniper and HP)
  • Firewalls (mainly Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Forti)
  • Network Monitoring and Performance Monitoring software
