Job description: A talented IT Manager is required by a rapidly growing company in the legal sector based in Bolton. This position will be the first internal IT member of the team and as such we do need a hands on skillset. The successful candidate will support the company’s IT infrastructure including servers, desktops, telephone systems while also providing support at all levels to the team.

This position will oversee the full IT function of the business. You will oversee the systems, the hardware and the software too.

Hybrid working is available

A salary of up to £45,000 is available depending on experience

Responsibilities

– Maintain the company servers and ensure they are running correctly

– Maintain the network infrastructure, ensuring smooth running and suggesting improvements/ upgrades/ network monitoring tools etc.

– Support a small team

– Ensure security requirements are met to protect data and systems from viruses.

– Setup of new users on their systems and provide any required IT equipment for new starters.

Requirements

– Experience managing the IT function of an SME

– Technical knowledge – understanding of the current IT software used in the company, as well as an awareness of new technologies that may help the business in the future.

Circa £45,000 per annum
