Job description: IT Operations Manager – London – Hybrid – £70k-£75k+ benefits Robert Half are working with a leading client in London on the recruitment of an IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure)The successful IT Operations Manager will come from a hands on technical background and have at least 3 years management experience and be happy to be hands on from a technical perspective.Main responsibilitiesUsing the IT department strategy to align, set tasks and organise the IT operations team daily operations.To ensure all security protocols and policies are followed.To lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB).To ensure security scanning both planned and adhoc are completed complying with all regulations.To act as the deputy of the IT department alongside the IT Portfolio Manager in the absence of the Head of IT.To be an approver for costs and invoices assigned to IT budgets and project codes. Required experienceITIL foundation qualification or equivalent (essential).Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science or equivalent field.Minimum 3 Years’ experience in managing a team with direct reports,Knowledge leading a business support service desk.Experience in identifying opportunities where IT can better support the wider business and client.3 Years’ experience as a Senior IT Support Engineer or similar.Knowledge of current IT industry risks and opportunities including cloud technologies,Knowledge of database, Hypervisor and Firewall technologies,Knowledge of Networks, Microsoft products and security systems,IT Operations Manager – London – Hybrid – £70k-£75k+ benefits Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
