Job description: IT Project Manager – Business Change – £500-£550 – Inside IR35 – Hybrid working 2 days a week at a site near Durham.My client, the UKs largest producer of ZERO CARBON energy, are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who excels in driving business change through technology implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end IT projects, focusing on delivering transformative solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects with a primary focus on driving business change.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage project resources, including internal team members, vendors, and third-party contractors.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitate communication and foster collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.Qualifications:Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably with a focus on business change initiatives.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification is a plus.
Expected salary: £550 per day
