Job description

IT Security Operations Specialist
Worthing – hybrid
Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is heavily investing in cyber and this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Security Operations Specialist to join their team and help shape their new security function and processes. You will play a pivotal role in securing their IT infrastructure, safeguarding critical systems and working with external SOC teams to make sure essential services can run effectively.

An important focus of this role will be performing incident response and vulnerability management duties and other core capabilities. Responding immediately to security threats across networks, using leading technology to prevent, detect and analyse security breaches. This role will be installing and maintaining infrastructure tools and related system software. You will be continuously improving application, system, and data security by proactively analysing, monitoring, and resolving related suspicious activity / behaviour and security incidents.

Expected salary: £45000 – 60000 per year
