About Us:
At The Bridge IT, we are partnering with an esteemed client in the Education sector, seeking a dedicated IT Service Desk Analyst to enhance their team.
Main Purpose of the Role:
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, youll be the primary contact for users, responsible for incident resolution and service requests. Collaborate with the IT Services team for efficient escalation when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Resolving issues and logging incidents.
- Utilise ITIL practices for effective incident management, including root cause analysis.
- Prioritise and resolve incidents with a focus on achieving a first-time fix or timely escalation.
- Identify and report system issues to prevent major outages, ensuring proactive communication.
- Thoroughly investigate unknown issues, document resolutions, and update the service knowledge base.
- Conduct induction and training sessions for users.
- Advise on IT purchases, liaise with suppliers, and process orders.
- Resolve end-user hardware, software, and network issues remotely and on-site.
- Deploy OS images and applications.
- Relocate IT hardware when necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience in an IT Service Desk team within an ITIL operational framework.
- Proficiency in using an IT Service Management Toolset.
- Expertise in Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Office Desktop Applications, Active Directory, SCCM, and hardware diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Snow Software Asset Management (Desirable).
