Job description: IT Service Manager (ITSM) – £55,000 to £70,000 – Corsham (Hybrid) – SC or DV Clearance

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an industry leading defence consultancy to assist with hiring a IT Service Manager (ITSM) to join their team working across a range of defence projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside our clients and partners to provide knowledge and experience from across the service lifecycle whether that be transitioning or maintaining live services.

Responsibilities include:

You will be providing consultancy support to clients around IT Service Management processes. The below responsibilities are not exhaustive, it is a list of chosen responsibilities which you will need to demonstrate:

  • ITIL Foundation qualified V3 or above
  • Experience implementing ITIL based practices (Incident, Problem etc)
  • Demonstrable experience working within an ITSM environment using the ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of ITSM governance, e.g. Change Advisory Boards (CABs)
  • Demonstrable experience with ITSM tooling
  • Experience delivering Continual Service Improvement
  • Understanding of customer management / service experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentational), showing tact, effective listening skills and present and defend points of view to a variety of audiences
  • Good organisational skills plus the ability to motivate people across an organisation to provide solutions
  • Candidate must be a team player and be able to follow processes and procedures
  • The suitable candidate must hold valid SC or DV Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel to client sites in the South West

Remuneration:

  • £55,000 to £70,000 per year
