Are you an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst looking to provide 2nd line support in a large and complex technical environment?

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT desktop support analyst (known at the University as IT Support Analyst) to join our IT Services Division.

With a can-do attitude, you’ll play a vital role in supporting users both remotely and desk-side, with most of your work being escalated from our IT Service Desk.

You’ll support both staff and student computers providing a quick response to standard day-to-day issues and requests for hardware and software, as well as engaging with project work such as our desktop replacement program.

This role will suit an experienced analyst looking to expand their skill set within a large environment and will include the support of both Mac and Windows technologies.

Though you’ll be based at our London King’s Cross campus, occasional travel to other UAL sites may be required.

About you
Your profile should include:

  • Experience with Windows and/or Mac hardware maintenance and fault-finding on desktops, laptops and printers.
  • The ability to deploy, configure and manage Mac OSX or Windows 10/11.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies both wired and wireless (desirable).
  • Experience supporting MS Office 365/Active Directory/Azure/Mobile Devices.
  • Exposure to enterprise tools such as JamfPro and Microsoft Intune or ZenWorks (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Helpdesk / Service Desk call logging / Service Management software (desirable).
  • Experience with ITIL (desirable).
  • The flexibility to work at university sites on occasion across London.
