The Service Desk team member will provide first-line technical support to internal users in an industrial/manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for addressing user issues regarding hardware, software, and networking.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Provide first-line support for all user IT issues.
  • Log all IT service desk requests and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Coordinate with the technology team to implement IT solutions.
  • Conduct regular system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and IT policies.
  • Participate in IT projects as required.

A successful IT Technician team member should have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 or above, and competent in using Microsoft Office 365 or above, and a range of web browsers
  • Exposure to Citrix Environment is advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Microsoft In-Tune and Android/iPhone management
  • Deploying Windows client images from Gold builds
  • Utilisation of remote deployment and management tools
  • Embrace Information Security at all user levels.
