Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.

We are at the cusp of an exciting era, transitioning our current ERP (NAV 2017) to Business Central over a two-year project. Our aim is to provide a modern platform that empowers users to excel in their roles and sets the foundation for business growth over the next decade.

We are seeking a positive individual who can contribute ideas and technical skills, assist with project planning and manage workloads to help deliver this transition. You will also collaborate with the Head of IT and Systems on general business improvements as directed by the company’s Directors.

Once Business Central is implemented, this role will shift towards support and continuous improvement – exploring what we can do now and how we can do it better. This will be a dynamic, fast-paced role in a constantly evolving business. While no programming knowledge is required (as our BC MS partner handles development), scoping projects, testing and planning, in conjunction with the Head of IT and Systems, will be key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities of IT System Analyst Business Central (including but not limited to):

  • Initially, to assist in the implementation and transition to Business Central (BC), working in collaboration with our Microsoft Partner to create comprehensive documentation for the new system. This will serve as a ‘system bible’ for end-users, complete with video tutorials and text content.
  • In the initial phase, testing of the newly developed system processes in Business Central. These processes may either be upgraded from Nav 2017 or newly created within BC. During this testing phase, to collaborate closely with key users.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the new platform, which will present opportunities for learning and contribution as we continue to evolve this platform.
  • Continuously strive for improvement by questioning existing processes and utilising available tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

To join us as IT System Analyst Business Central you must have:

Essential:

  • Experience of implementing Business Central as part of a team, significant experience in Business Central or a high level of experience in a previous similar version (Dynamics Nav)
  • IT degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as use own initiative
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • General professional and can-do attitude
  • Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Current full driving licence

Desirable:

  • Jet Reports experience
  • Power platform
