Job description: IT Systems Support – International Law Firm, ManchesterA large, International Law Firm seeking a 2nd/3rd line IT Support Specialist, to join their Manchester-based IT team. The Systems Support team is comprised of a globally distributed group of individuals who troubleshoot & resolve most of the escalations from the Service Desk.With core values of being approachable & supportive, enabling people to bring their authentic selves to work, the firm has an inclusive culture and works hard to ensure the well-being of its diverse workforce.Although this is based in the 100-user Manchester office, the role will support all 3,000 users globally.This team has a high level of access to systems and is encouraged to resolve as much as they can. It’s a great opportunity to progress from 2nd line support.Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a link/escalation point between the Service Desk and 3rd line technical teams
  • Resolve issues while maintaining communication with users throughout the process
  • Work with the global IT Systems Support team to resolve underlying issues
  • Help to improve the Service Delivery of the team with ideas and innovations, which are encouraged by the firm.

Required Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of 2nd Line Support experience in a professional services environment
  • Citrix
  • Knowledge of MS Office (2016/365), Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Expert Windows OS and desktop build/imaging
  • Exp working in a global business within ITIL best practice frameworks.
