As a Japanese-speaking news reporter, you’ll be key in delivering the latest news, keeping an eye on the Web3 market, and exploring new technologies. Working together with our editors is important to make sure our articles are accurate, timely, and trustworthy. You’ll write engaging stories, produce fresh and original news that our Japanese readers will love, and make sure our coverage of worldwide Web3 news fits what’s important in Japan.
Daily Dispatches: Produce 3 daily news articles of under 1,000 JP characters, totaling an impactful 15 articles each week.
Weekly Columns: Compose a reflective weekly column, spanning 1,000 to 2,000 JP characters, to connect deeply with our Japanese readers.
Engagement Through Accuracy: Captivate our Japanese audience with SEO-optimized, precise reporting on the Web3 market, emphasizing stories that matter.

Core Tasks
- Produce 3 original news articles per day. The volume is less than 1,000 JP characters. The estimated output is 15 news articles/week.
- Produces column(opinion) article, the volume is 1,000-2,000 JP characters. Estimated output is 1-2 articles/week.
- Write engaging and accurate news article, and analysis pieces with on-page SEO and journalism.
- Cover breaking news and provide real-time updates as needed.
- Conduct in-depth research on the Japanese & global Web3 market.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in the Japanese & global Web3 industry.
- Monitor and track competitor news and trends.
- Work closely with the editorial team to brainstorm and develop story ideas.
Essential Requirements
- Possess a deep understanding of on-page SEO.
- Be well-versed in Web3, and blockchain.
- Previous writing or journalism experience (at least 1-2 years), even through internships or coursework, is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional research and fact-checking abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
