As a JavaScript Developer at AJW Group, you will play a pivotal role in building, testing, maintaining, and developing the front end of our digital platforms. This includes the NextGen Portal, customer interfaces, EDIs, APIs, and various software development initiatives. Working under the guidance of the Digital Engineering Manager, you will contribute your expertise to drive the success of our cutting-edge projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Work with fellow front and back-end developers.
• Write documentation of how the various components work.
• Examine the code, requirements, system hazards, and software dependability

You will bring:

• Javascript proficiency
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like Typescript
• CSS expertise including creating responsive layouts, animations, and visual effects
• Version control using Git
• Proven ability to identify and solve UI/UX-related problems
• Debugging proficiency
• Effective collaboration
• Communication excellence
• Back-end data management
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
