Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons in line with the school’s curriculum standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, providing each student with the opportunity to excel.
• Emphasize the real-world applications of English principles, fostering effective communication and analytical skills in students.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyze assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that sparks a love for English, promoting respectful behavior among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification in English.
• PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
• Ability to teach Key Stage 3, with Key Stage 4 as a plus in qualifications.
