Job description: An award-winning architectural design and urban planning practice are looking for a junior IT support technician to join their team to deliver first line IT Support.You will provide technical support to users both remotely and on site. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and possess excellent problem-solving skills.Duties
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with both hardware and software
- Proving technical advice and support to all users
- Installing and configuring hardware and software
- PC/Laptop imaging
- Performing regular maintenance on customer systems
- Carrying out system upgrades and patching
- Setting up meeting room laptops and projectors
- General IT Administration
About youTo be an Junior IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.This 18-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £25,650 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.Skills and personal qualities requiredThis is a full-time role suitable for a self-motivated and enthusiastic school or colleague leaver with a strong interest in developing knowledge and experience in infrastructure technology.
