  • Previous experience of working with HR/Recruitment systems is essential
  • Knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • The ability to remain calm and personable with good inter-personal skills during busy periods
  • Proactive and can take the initiative to identify opportunities to support the team and improve ways of working
  • Enthusiastic with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Being able to interact effectively with the team and the recruitment stakeholders, as well as building rapport with candidates
  • In this position you will be the database administrator and must be extremely effective in dealing with large amounts of information, work efficiently under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
  • This is a busy role requiring ability to work to short deadlines with the right level of urgency and professionalism
  • Previous office-based work experience, preferably in an administration role that requires a scheduling element
  • Extremely organised and able to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate records of recruiting are maintained and the right actions are taken
  • Effective and adaptable communication skills and self-organisation are essential

  • Overall provide direct support to the University Channel Recruiting Team in the London office
  • Take full ownership, with the support of the Senior Recruiter & Recruitment Manager, for scheduling interviews working with the shared service NEXUS team
  • Pro-actively lead the interview campaign administration, communication to candidates and overall ensure the smooth running of campaigns for Full Time (Sept – Dec) and Summer Internship (Jan – Mar)
  • Take ownership of maintaining and updating several key excel files with the ability to quickly access and extract data from the files as needed
  • Manage the University channel CV screening with the team, preparing for and attending the screening meetings
  • Pro-actively lead the campaign administration with the following: merchandise ordering, creating packs for candidates and interviewers, bio cards, taking minutes when attending de-briefs, tracking return of interview feedback and giving feedback to candidates after interviews, management of candidate expenses
  • Keep candidate records 100% up to date and accurate in recruiting database in timely manner
  • Daily ownership of the London Recruiting mailbox

Events

  • Ownership of the application process for the university regional yearly workshops for Women and LGBTQ+ initiatives
  • Ownership of the organisation of the annual Insight Programme event for first year students, from screening applications to planning the content to be delivered, as well as attending the event in September
  • Assist in the preparation of recruiting events for the channel including on-campus events, mainly during the Autumn but also throughout the year, virtual webinars, and offeree welcome events
  • Manage and coordinate the Summer Internship programme, including induction, weekly informative and social events over the summer and performance review process

Team Based

  • Work effectively with other teams and key stakeholders, such as staffing team for the summer programme, consulting teams: for events, insight programme, screening, regional programmes
  • Ownership and accurate/timely database management in BCG IT systems
  • Assist Head of Recruiting and other channels in any analysis or preparation for meetings with Partners and Recruiting Leadership team
  • Work collaboratively across the whole Recruiting Team as and when necessary to provide support to a busy function
  • Ad hoc project work when needed
