Tasks and Responsibilities
To be a successful GFPS Key Account Manager you will be required to maintain and develop a portfolio of major GFPS Customers by acquiring a thorough understanding of key customers needs and requirements. You will develop strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders both within the customer base and within the wider DHL network and be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities in line with the businesses expectations to further grow the DHL market leadership position and support the key accounts. You will need to be innovative and have a desire to push for strategic changes through challenging, developing and promoting new ideas and solutions. You will need to achieve individual sales targets while meeting key customer needs.
· Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major GFPS Customers.
· Achieve the business objectives and targets in both revenue and yield.
· Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
· Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
· Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers promptly.
· Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
· Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
· Play an integral part in generating new sales within existing portfolios and new sectors (FinTech) that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
· Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with all DHL employees.
Your Profile – Skillsets and Attributes
- Excellent knowledge of DHL’s products and services
- Minimum 3 years experience in Sales
- Good negotiation skills
- Customer and results-oriented
- Multi-level negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High mobility, and extensive travel required.
- Fluency in English (spoken & written)
- Driving license
