Job Description
The LMS is a world-class research laboratory where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of biology and its application to medicine. Funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) as part of UK Research and Innovation, the LMS has a highly collaborative working culture to advance science, with the aim of leading on innovative biological discoveries.
The LMS’s Laboratory Services Officer will be a key member of the Laboratory Services team responsible for the delivery of the laboratory support function, including maintenance of scientific and laboratory-based equipment of the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences/ Imperial College Institute of Clinical Sciences. The post holder will have particular responsibility for management of preventive and reactive equipment maintenance, including scheduling and management of third-party contractors and goods delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to work in Laboratory Services in a medical research environment. Applicants should have experience in planning and scheduling services and goods delivery.
