Join a team of next generation thinkers.WHAT TO EXPECTThis role has the responsibility to lead and contribute to the Brand Materiality Design activities in support of Brand Design for our 4 House of Brands – Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar. Partnering with the Brand Materiality Design Manager to inform a holistic approach to capture the Materiality brand look and feel for the brands. Creating the most desirable, relevant and exceptional client brand experiences, underpinning the Reimagine strategy.As a materiality Lead Designer, you will create connections between Brand Design and other enterprise chapters with the aim to visually communicate innovative Materiality strategic partnerships, innovation and impact for our clients integrating Now, Next and Future material stories of substance.WHAT YOU’LL NEEDKnowledge, skills & experience:Strong technical experience and ability in illustration and other visual evaluation skills to visually communicate ideas and solutions. including advanced use of Adobe package software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign software and ability to use internet resources appropriately for research purposes.Previous experience of Brand design, including experience of visualising and communicating Brand design solutions in 2D and 3DProven experience of aesthetic judgement of surface, surface juxtaposition and appearance (material and form intrinsically linked)Proven Design experience with CMF (excellent colour aptitude) and GraphicsCapability to work in the detail (graphics, material details & surface treatments)Essential:Proven creative and presentation skills, including advanced use of Adobe package software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign software and ability to use internet resources appropriately for research purposes.A good understanding of product, interior, the design industry in general and automotive design combined with good aesthetic judgement, colour vision and colour perception.Knowledge of materials, processes and suppliers with a high degree of competitor awarenessPassion for Colour and Material Technology and Design as evidenced by up to date in field literature, innovations and Trends.Additional software skills like VREDSO WHY US?Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme.
