What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Architect with NTT DATA, you will play a central role in supporting the implementation of technology within the UK Central Government. Operating within a pivotal department, your responsibilities will include leading the shaping, development and deployment of robust technical solutions collaborating with key stakeholders. Working in collaborative environments, often alongside Client and wider partner resources, you will utilize agile methodologies in accordance with Central Government processes including the GDS Service Standard and Technical Code of Practice. Your key contributions will include providing valuable insights and guidance on technology architecture, solution and technology options and delivery approaches. This is a role that demands market awareness, a balanced opinion on future technology directions, and a pragmatic approach within defined Reference Architecture guardrails.

What experience you’ll bring:

You will be an experienced Lead Enterprise Architect with a strong track record of Client-side technical solution development/delivery in the Government Sector. To thrive in this role will also require proven experience working as the Solution Lead on large scale and complex programmes (£10m+) within the Government Sector. Your familiarity with Central Government processes and methods, including the GDS Service Standard and Technical Code of Practice, as well as architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman will be essential. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are imperative, as is your ability to produce high-quality and accurate documentation. Your stakeholder engagement and management skills will be crucial in building strong, sustainable relationships.
