Full time starting salary is normally in the range £32,546 to £35,116 with potential progression once in post to £39,355

Role Summary

The Collaborative Teaching Laboratory (CTL) are seeking a creative and proactive Learning Experiences Developer to help build innovative learning resources that transform how students engage with their laboratory work.

You will be a part of the CTL’s in-house Educational Technology (EdTech) team and collaborate with academics across the Colleges of Engineering and Physical Sciences and the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, to create bespoke digital materials and in-lab learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing a range of digital learning materials and educational media
  • Creating tailored learning experiences using online and blended pedagogies
  • Managing and developing online course content and assessment tools
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative student experiences

Person Specification

We are looking for a creative, adaptable professional who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about enhancing student learning through innovative technology. You will need a good analytical mind, resourcefulness and vision to think beyond traditional educational solutions.

You will need to be educated to degree level (a STEM-related degree is preferred but not essential), proven experience with industry content development tools such as Articulate Storyline or similar, along with experience of working with virtual learning environments (VLE) like Canvas. You will also need to have good project management skills with the drive to self-govern and work independently.
