Job Description
Salary on appointment will be £24,715 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £28,131 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Manager – Communities, to join the Sainsbury Centre Learning Team to oversee our work with communities.
Key duties of the role include co-delivering with our Families Manager a monthly community drop-in, developing relationships with local communities and community leaders and gatekeepers, delivering introductory activities off-site in the community, and bringing the voice of our communities into the heart of our planning and decision making.
You will have demonstrable experience of working with communities in an arts or heritage setting, an interest in working with collections, and a desire to work collaboratively with a wide range of people to make positive change through arts engagement.
This part-time (0.4FTE) post is available on an indefinite basis.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child and Adult Barred Lists.
