Lecturer Built Environment Apprenticeships (HE) at University College Birmingham

Job Description

Job Overview:

Are you an experienced professional in the built environment, ready to inspire the next generation of talent?

Have you worked closely with apprentices and employers in the construction or building services sector? Do you have experience delivering apprenticeship reviews and teaching up to Level 6 in Higher Education?

If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are now looking for a knowledgeable and committed Apprenticeship Lecturer to support our expanding cohort of Level 4 Building Services apprentices, with the potential to contribute to the launch of a new Level 6 programme in early 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring, guiding, and developing the potential of others. Whether you’re a seasoned lecturer or a built environment professional ready to share your experience, your insight and leadership can make a real impact.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a growing, forward-thinking team that values industry experience as much as academic knowledge.
  • Teach and support motivated apprentices—over 25 currently enrolled and more joining soon.
  • Play a key role in shaping future talent in Building Services Engineering through both review processes and lecture delivery.
  • Work with cutting-edge resources and collaborate with passionate colleagues and industry partners.
