Want to work within an exciting and growing area? We are looking for someone to teach Animal Care and Management, with a specific focus on biology and animal science at Levels 3 – 5.
Our Animal Care curriculum area offers a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 5 and has an animal collection consisting of small mammals, reptiles, and other species. We challenge all our students to realise their full potential and aim to provide high levels of support to ensure their success.
As a Lecturer in Animal Care, you will deliver and assess various units on Level 1-3 programmes in Animal Care. You will also be involved in Practical Animal handling, Husbandry and Animal Behaviour
As a Lecturer in Animal Care, you should:
- Educated to degree level in Animal Behaviour/Management or professional qualification in related subject
- Have GCSE A*- C / 9 – 4 in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent
- Have experience of teaching Level 1 – 3 qualifications
- Experience of adopting a range of teaching and learning strategies.
