You will be expected to contribute to Studio and Architectural Technologies teaching at all levels of study.

- A recognised Higher Education teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience or positive commitment to gaining HEA Fellowship within two years.
- Appropriate professional architectural practice or teaching experience, supported by professional body membership such as ARB/RIBA or an international equivalent.
- Knowledge that supports the delivery of a curriculum that spans the cultural, socio-economic, and physical aspects of Architecture, and commitment to develop innovative teaching practices.
- Excellent communications skills to reach a diverse group of students.
- Excellent design skills and a thorough awareness of the subject area, and desire to impart an understanding of design practice through a range of teaching activities.
The school is particularly keen to appoint research-active lecturers to support future REF submissions. You will have a high-quality research profile (consistent with your career stage) and evidence of the potential to develop externally funded research programmes.
You will become a member of one of the Centres of Research Excellence (https://www.brighton.ac.uk/research/organisation/cores/index.aspx) with access to world class facilities within the School.
