About this role

This is a great opportunity for you to join the University of Chichester as a Lecturer on our Digital Film Production programme. In this exciting hands-on role, the post-holder will deliver teaching in the discipline of multi-skilled Filmmaking in our cutting-edge production facilities.

About you

The successful candidate will have specialist knowledge and industry experience as a filmmaker, preferably in the disciplines of producing/production management and ideally have teaching experience in a relevant academic area. You will take a creative approach to teaching, enthusing students and inspiring learning through high quality, effective and interactive teaching.

With evidence of professional practice and engagement with higher education, you will develop content of the subject area/modules with an understanding of the needs of students and a student-centred approach to learning and teaching, using up-to-date knowledge and skills to ensure that the course remains relevant and aligned to industry practices.
