About the Role
We are looking for a passionate professional who will further develop this area, working with students to ensure they achieve their best potential. You will deliver ESOL curriculum at Rotherham to fulfil the required AEB planned provision.
You’ll prepare students for higher levels of study (including Higher Education) and vitally for the world of work, developing specific vocational work and employability skills through the curriculum, and by using external/internal links.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding quality teaching, learning and assessment which will support students to achieve their best no matter what their challenges are to do so, and present yourself as a positive role model to students.
You will…
- hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one
- hold an appropriate level professional qualification in relevant subject specialism
- have experience of teaching/training adults in relevant area
- be well organised and able to manage your own workload
- be an excellent communicator to effectively liaise with parents, employers and colleagues in College to ensure that the students on your programmes successfully progress.
Department Info
You will be part of the Adult & Community team and your line manager will be the Curriculum Manager. You will regularly report on your objectives to update your Programme Leader / Curriculum Leader regarding a range of KPI’s including (but not limited to) student recruitment, retention, anticipated achievement, attendance and punctuality.
You will be part of a Curriculum and Department team and will work with other teaching staff to develop and share good practice in the area.
