Lecturer in Film Production at University of Winchester
Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Film Production in the Faculty of Education and the Arts at the University of Winchester.
The post holder will be responsible for teaching a broad range of Film Production modules, with an emphasis on practical post-production/VFX skills development, audio/visual film production skills, corporate film production and distribution methods and must be able to demonstrate potential for external income generation.
We are particularly keen to employ an individual who comes from an industry background specifically in the areas of film and/or high-end television. The post-holder will teach across a range of subjects in this area, supervise projects, support the ongoing development of this provision, and may also be asked to assume organisational and administrative responsibilities at project, module and programme levels.
The post-holder will also have opportunities to contribute to the Faculty’s research and knowledge exchange environment and will support student recruitment and public engagement activities.
The envisaged start date for this position is August 2025.
