Hours: Part time hours considered up to a maximum of 0.9 FTE (33.75 hours) per week.

About the role
We are looking for an outstanding candidate with expertise in digital media studies. This is a fixed-term post, funded through a research grant, that provides cover for faculty on leave.
You will teach remotely on our online distance learning degree MA Media, Ethics & Social Change. This degree teaches students how to use digital media in a meaningful way to bring about positive change across various sectors, and examines digital media in the context of activism and social justice.
You will be required to deliver several short (7 week) modules on topics including: digital media theory; digital media ethics; media and climate change; race, culture and media; public relations; and participatory media. You should have the academic expertise to convene, teach and assess modules on these topics, and to manage the online learning area and student discussions. Teaching materials already exist for these modules, so any content and learning materials that you prepare will build on what already exists.
You will also have the opportunity and a time allocation to develop a portfolio of scholarship, and will assist in some administrative duties related to the degree.
