Job Description
The Department of English at Manchester Metropolitan seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Publishing.
The Department hosts BA programmes in English, Creative Writing and Film and Media Studies. The Department runs highly successful MA programmes in Creative Writing and English Studies and has one of the largest communities of taught postgraduate English and Creative Writing students in the UK. In September 2020 we launched our new MA Publishing. This new programme is delivered by an interdisciplinary team and strong recruitment is supporting the creation of new posts.
The post is suitable for candidates with a Phd in a relevant area or equivalent qualifications and with experience of teaching Publishing. This opportunity will be offered on a fractional, fixed-term basis of 9.25 hours per week for three years. The anticipated start date for the successful applicant is 2nd September 2024.
