Part time – 1 – 4 days per week available (7.4 – 29.6 hours per week)

The Role

We are recruiting for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer to join our existing Quantity Surveying team, and we welcome applications from candidates with practical experience in:

  • Tendering procedures
  • Procurement and supply chain strategies
  • Contract Administration
  • Dispute Resolution

You should have an awareness of the current trends, issues, and developments in surveying,

both nationally and internationally, and will be expected to demonstrate an applied understanding of current industry developments during the selection process.

You do not need previous experience of teaching; this is a great opportunity if you have practical experience and a desire to inspire the next generation of Quantity Surveyors to embark on a career in academia.

You will be a key member of the Quantity Surveying team, helping to maintain and to expand the

success of the department’s courses in this area.  Our courses are accredited by the relevant professional bodies and staff members are encouraged to be active within them.  Courses within our departmental portfolio are accredited by the following

professional bodies: CIOB, RICS, CICES and BQSoM.
