Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic surgery team which has broad experience in both accepted and exciting, novel techniques in all aspects of surgery as well as in clinical and basic science research. You will be based in the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at Leahurst on the Wirral Peninsula which is internationally recognised for its staff and facilities and includes state-of-the-art imaging and theatres well equipped for both open and minimally invasive surgeries. The caseload is diverse with lots of opportunity to develop expertise in desired areas as well as a large internal oncological case base as well as having excellent multidisciplinary support led by EBVS and RCVS specialist trained staff. You should be MRCVS and ECVS/ACVS board-certified or eligible and have relevant experience in referral level surgery and clinical service provision to act as the senior surgeon when required.
The post is available from 1st November 2025.
