The Department of Social Care and Social Work are recruiting a full-time, permanent Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Social Work to join our thriving team and work with our diverse student community.  We are looking for people with at least five years United Kingdom experience of statutory social work with children.

About you:

The ideal candidate should have teaching experience and a creative approach to designing and delivering HE curriculum at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels in social work specific and interdisciplinary contexts. This role requires a versatile approach and ability to contribute to a team.

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills. You will also have considerable knowledge and practice experience of working in the relevant area of social work practice.

You will be expected to contribute to the Department’s taught undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio.
