Job description: Legal Administrator – Glasgow – Salary up to £28,000 p/a DOEAre you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new challenge?Do you want the opportunity to join a small, but established firm in Glasgow?Are you eager to join a tight-knit team and business?We are looking to speak to experienced Legal Secretaries / Legal Administrators who are looking for their next new challenge in Glasgow. Ideally, you will have experience within a similar post, assisting fee earners/partners daily. You will be well organised, have a strong attention to detail and be adaptable and able to manage ever-changing commitments and priorities. This is a great opportunity to join an established firm in Glasgow City Centre!This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. The salary for this role is up to £28,000 p/a DOE. Initially, this role will be office based, with potential hybrid working in the future.Are you who we are looking for?
- You have legal secretary or legal administration experience
- You are proficient in Microsoft Packages
- You are positive and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
- You are well organised and able to manage various tasks
- You can work well under pressure to multitask, priorities work and meet deadlines
- You are able to work well individually and within a wider team environment
- You enjoy building key internal and external relationships with clients and co-workers
- You have dictation / audio typing experience
What is the day to day like?
- Providing a range of secretarial and administrative duties for attorneys
- Collating documents, preparing client correspondence, handling and processing official documents daily
- Assisting with diary management, meeting booking and travel booking when required
- Completing all audio typing duties when required
- Assisting with general administrative duties including reception, telephone cover, filing, mail handling, postage and general office upkeep daily
- Liaising and building relationships with clients daily, assisting with queries when required
- Meeting and greeting visitors in the office
- Assisting with office manager with various duties when required
